As Delurk Week Draws to an End

I just discovered that this week is National Blogger Delurk Week...so for those of you who have been hanging out in my blog for a while but have yet to make your presence known, please take this opportunity to say Howdy. Leaving a comment doesn't hurt (unless you discover that you've posted a comment with a bunch of typos, then it's a bit painful). When I write, I write to an imaginary audience, but I'll bet you're much more interesting than they are.

I admit, I have been lurking. I go to church with Michelle and Sonny, my real name is Jamie. I just wrote on Michelle's blog that I want you to write my blog. You are far more interesting than I.

Nice to meet you!

Dana said...

Welcome, Jamie. You are a lurker no longer!
Michelle has mentioned your name a few times in conversation, so I know who you are. I'll swing by your blog and say hello.

so, to all who were graced with my anger issues...HA! i am an idiot, switched the comment i meant to leave you dana with one for my sister in law...now that i've aired my family grievances to the blog world, what i meant to say is...erin gave me your url to check up on you guys in the big city. at times i'm insanely jealous of the adventure, other times i think i could never do that!! take care and say hi to steve for us!

Lisa,
No worries. It's good to hear from you...you and Brad cross my mind from time to time. Where are you living now?

Julie,
Where'd you go on your ladies' night out?

Hey dana,
So I owe you now….after my color commentary I’m not sure I want to disclose my current location due to safety issues!!! Kidding…we are still in FL and loving the 75 degree winter weather. There is a possibility of a move on the horizon, but nothing set in stone yet. Will keep you posted. Oh, and you may want to add on your post that the occurance of typos in one’s comment is definitely not the most embarrassing thing that could happen…;)

I just started lurking, and love your blog, Dana! It's great to hear more about what your family is doing, and how the vision for the church plant is progressing. I also loved your fleece-sarong picture - I do the same thing with a crocheted blanket. Not quite as warm, but no static!

Dana said...

Hi Becky,
Nice to have another sarong-wearer in the mix!

Hi Dana! I guess I can risk telling you that I enjoy your blog very much. You are a very good & interesting writer. Thanks for sharing your life, I, for one, have learned a lot! May God bless you & your family. Pat, (Marsha's mom)

Dana said...

Marsha's Mom Pat,
I'm so glad you like the blog, and that you are learning about things like how much I dislike rats in the subway :)
Welcome!

Hi Dana! I saw my mother left a message... thought I should admit my presence as well. I love your blog and think about your family often. What a fabulous adventure... more daring than I will ever be. Keep up the great writing!

Hi Dana,
I was Chole's preschool teacher at Oakdale Christian and came upon your blog as a link from a friend of a friend's blog. Just thought I'd say hello. So nice to see pictures of your sweet Chloe!
Catherine

Hi Kristy!
I'm glad this is a family affair.

And Miss Catherine,
Hello to you. How long did it take you to figure out our Chloe was the Chloe of Oakdale days? We still look fondly on our experience there.

Hey girl,

For ladies' night we went to Bar Divani. It was pretty good. Nicki stood us up (Her schedule is crazy) and we missed her, but understood.

By the way, I got a NYC rip off purse when my niece was there over Christmas. I hope yours is doing well.

You know I am an avid reader- no lurker. Keep it up, you are a bright spot in my day!
Still hope to get out there some day soon.

Hi Dana,
I just stumbled upon your blog a couple weeks ago and as soon as I saw the year in review post I immediately recognized your dear little Chloe. I have fond memories of her from preschool!
