Worms. Gotta be worms.
I'm going with the ants...because they have legs and a mouth to aid in the digging?
Chloe opined that it was a bit of apples to oranges thing, due to the difference in size, digging style, AND digging intent.
Plus, said she, worms get a bonus for adding nutrients to the soil.
I believe it would be the ants because they have so much help. I am not so sure if they go one on one. Good Question.
